Our real-life classes are the solution, and our unique open-enrollment approach to scheduling means you can start right away – and get relief right away!

Our classes are designed to give you and your dog a safe, fun place to learn, using positive, force free training methods.
Little Nippers and Basic Manners classes include Seven Sessions:
We work on all things puppies! How to sit, stay, walk nice on a leash, share objects and stop chewing on everything!
We support you and your puppy every step of the way as we move through a safe comfortable learning environment where we help you recognize and maintain control of your puppy through positive handling methods.
Classes are held at Bushwick Bark, 181 Irving Avenue on Tuesday nights from 7:30pm-8:30pm
Our Little Nippers Puppy class package consists of a 90 minute virtual orientation ($90) and 6 1-hour in person class sessions ($480) at Bushwick Bark, 181 Irving Avenue.
You first register for the virtual orientation where we discuss class rules, expectations, lay down some shared understanding and language around how dogs learn, why we don’t use punishment, etc.
After you complete your orientation, we send you the registration link for the in-person classes and you can pick your class start date.

Don’t worry, we can help.
We offer our Puppy Pre-K to puppies 8-14 weeks old so you can learn all about house training, crate training (should I, do I have too?) how to start training and so much more! We’ll hold your hand and your puppies paw so we can help you both navigate your new life together.

We offer our Puppy Pre-K Package as a two or four session package!
Get a head start on puppy class with our virtual program!
Mix and match topics that may benefit you the most. For those who book a four-session package, you can join our Little Nipper Puppy Class without enrolling in our Little Nippers Orientation and move right into the training class.
Each session is 45 minutes long (30 minutes of learning the who, what and why), followed by 15 minutes of questions about how to help your puppy.
Friday nights 7:30pm – 8:15pm
Note- Just adopted a dog or older puppy and need help? Our Two-Session Package of House Training and Alone Time/Crate Training may be helpful for you and your new dog! over a year old!

It’s All About That Impulse Control!
A class for the less than star pupil canine in your life!
Is life too distracting for your dog? Can they just not sit still for more than 3 seconds?
This two-session class package will help you and your dog learn how to calm down, take a breath and not be so distracted by anything and everything!
We help you work on how to get your dog to focus back on you with a little more control and concentration using real life distractions.
So let’s get started being a little more focused to sit and stay and behave with a little more control around all those fun and exciting things!

The Art of Recall: Stop running after your dog!
The city is full of distractions, it makes it hard for your dog to concentrate. Help your dog tune those distractions out and come to you when called.
This intensive two-session class package will help you learn how to prompt your dog to come running back to you! We focus solely on recall and help you practice with your dog and learn all you need to learn to get your dog to your side when needed.
We discuss the 5 rules of recall and how best to call your dog back to you!

It’s all about the Leash Walking!
If your dog pulls, drags you all over the street and wants to say hi to every human and dog that passes, then you might want to join us for our leash walking class package.
This three-session class package is designed to help you and dog learn how to walk politely around the neighborhood. It’s designed to give you more control of your walk, strategies to help you when things go wrong and how to help make walking a more enjoyable experience for you and your dog.
There is no prerequisite for this class but basic manners like sit and name recognition are helpful.

Visits to your Veterinarian and grooming shop can be stressful for your dog. With Free-Fear Training classes we can help alleviate anxiety while helping your pup learn how to feel more comfortable and at ease in stressful situations.
Is brushing, bathing, trimming nails or a grooming appointment a battle with your dog?
Don’t worry, we will help guide you to better grooming experiences. We will learn how to listen to our dogs and give them the control over participating while teaching them ways to gain confidence during grooming experiences.
Grooming can be a scary experience for some dogs. Using Fear-Free techniques, we have designed a two-session in-person package to help you ease your dog into a better grooming experience and maybe even evolve it into a pleasant one!
The classes are held in My Two Dogs grooming shop. Now you can see what the grooming process can actually be like for your dog! We can help you and your dog learn how to work on good grooming manners to help them understand the process of grooming.

A trip to the vet’s office can be a daunting experience for some dogs. It can traumatize both pawrent and pup.
Using Fear-Free techniques, we have designed a two-session package that is specially designed to help your pup become familiar with the handling techniques and procedures they may encounter during their visit. We will learn how to listen to our dogs and give them the control over participating while teaching them ways to gain confidence during their vet experiences.
You can impress everyone with your dog’s official American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen Title.
You pass – you get bragging rights and if your dog is registered with the AKC, you can use the title after their name!
You can order an official CGC certificate from the American Kennel Club to display and impress your friends & family when your dog passes!

The purpose of the Canine Good Citizen program is to show that a well behaved companion dog (purebreds or mixed) can be a respected, reliable and valued member of our community in public and around other dogs.
A good dog is a good dog, purebred or mixed bred! Any dog and handler can take the classes and the exam.
Our Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Workshop is designed to help you and your dog practice their skills needed to pass the CGC 10 item test to receive their official CGC title!
Your dog should know the basic behaviors like sit, stay and polite greeting without jumping (to name a few) to take the classes. Basic behaviors will not be taught during the classes but honed for the CGC exam.
Our CGC Class Package is 2 1-hour classes where we will help you and your dog work on the test items to make sure you both are ready to take the test after the final week of training.

If you do not pass, for an additional fee you can retake the exam, when space allows.
